Great sit-down restaurant for breakfast / brunch. A no frills joint for good, American-style breakfast. The menu is quite extensive, service is fairly attentive, and food doesn't take long to come out. I wouldn't overly recommend the french toast (it was quite egg-y and not cinnamon-y enough for me / a bit too soggy) but the eggs & protein were very good. And my horchata coffee was delicious. As soon as our party walked in, we were greeted with a friendly smile, and once we were sat our waitress was quick to ask us what we'd like to get started. Our server checked in with us a few times during our stay, and left us our check for whenever we were ready. It was also a breeze to pay (scan a QR code and pay via mobile wallet).

Best breakfast place ever! Food was excellent. Coffee was great. Service was great. Will be back next time in Chicago.

Absolutely loved this place! Went on a girls trip to Chicago and this was a must for us. It is centrally located with more than one location to choose from. The food was great and so was the service.

The prices felt a bit high, but the portion sizes definitely made up for it. My mom and I could have easily shared a meal and still had leftovers. The vanilla iced coffee was decent, though not something I'd go out of my way for. The place was packed, which is usually a good sign, and the service was pretty solid.

Came here for breakfast the other day with some friends and we all really enjoyed this spot. I ordered the countryside skillet with my eggs scrambled and I added berries to my pancake. Everything was delicious! Only wish my skillet came with a larger thing of gravy. My boyfriend got the chicken and waffles and I thought it was really good when I had a bite. Overall, the service was great and quick and the restaurant itself was cute and simple.

Definitely coming back to NYC with Yolk on my mind--wishing we had one in my city too! The vibes here are top-tier, from the super friendly service to the wide variety of delicious dishes. I had the country skillet, Nutella crepes, and a gingerbread cold brew, and wow... I was full and satisfied all day, still daydreaming about how good everything was. Plus, our waiter was the sweetest, and the city views were a bonus. If you haven't tried Yolk yet, you need to!

Cute place for a traditional American breakfast. We tried the corned beef hash & eggs and the kale and cauliflower scrambler. Quality is good, and both came with pancakes as well. The serving size is very generous here. We were completely stuffed and had some for leftovers.

My wife and I stopped in for breakfast on our way to the Bears game. Our waitress was happy, attentive and pleasant. She kept my coffee cup filled. Food was brought out hot and fast, and the restaurant was busy. I ordered the Y.T.K sandwich which was fantastic. So glad they brought it back. The sausage on the sandwich is the star! I got a side of cheese grits which did not disappoint. My wife got a veggie crepe, which was pretty bland. I mean, it was all veggies so what do you expect? The only complaint is the place is really loud when it's full. The serve Pepsi products.
